Plage d'Arcachon - Thiers

Arcachon beach stretches about 800 metres along the seafront promenade. Flanked by the Theirs and Eyrac piers, it is the starting point for many boat trips to Île aux Oiseux and the cabins on stilts. Aready famous in the 19th Century, this beach is ideally situated close to shops, restaurants and the town centre. It is a favourite spot for beach volleyball players in the summer.
