Plages du Bassin - Les Jacquets/Grand Piquey

This 7 km walk takes you to the oyster-farming villages of Petit Piquey and Grand Piquey, along the shores of the Bay of Arcachon. The route alternates between wild beaches and shady paths, offering total immersion in the authenticity of the Presqu?île. Some sections are on sand, which can make walking more physical, especially at high tide. Not accessible to baby carriages due to natural terrain.

Along the way, you'll come across oyster-farming huts, where a tasting break overlooking the Bassin is a must. From the Anse de Grand Piquey beach, the view of the Dune du Pilat and the Banc d?Arguin is breathtaking. A peaceful stroll, ideal for appreciating the discreet charm of the coastline and the richness of the oyster-farming heritage.
